writing prompts- part 2!

hey everyone! welcome to the second part of this series. you can find the first bit here.

i wrote a poem {again}. sorry; i find it hard to write prose based upon writing prompts. i’ll try for the next one, promise!

once again, this features art done by my friends. i have super talented buddies!

here it is-

i LOVE it!!

credits go to my friend. i haven’t made the art- just written about it.

this is a beautiful artwork- and it can mean so much. which is why it didn’t take very long for me to write something about it. i took it this way- there were once colors in the black and white side too… but they were stolen.

i am the falling,
to your flight,
i am the darkness,
to your light.

i am the raven,
when you’re the dove,
i am the hatred,
when you’re the love.

i’m the curse of death,
but you’re the gift of life,
you’re the joy and happiness,
but i’m the abhorred strife.

the blackhole’s me,
the supernova’s you,
but as i shriveled,
you stole what was mine, and grew.

this is the way i see it. i’m sure there’s a million different ways to understand the artwork. tell me what you think, okay?

love always,

hi! just a nerdy girl here. lover of science, english and learning on the whole. spreading knowledge is one of my favorite things to do! nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. ~marie curie

  1. Woww! Sickkk poem…
Also – interestingly the first two lines of every stanza kinda led into each other.
From supernovas come black holes, eventually life leads to death, if you’re flying, you should eventually fall though doves can’t really become ravens.
Lolz…I think I read into that a bit much
